Adventureland Campground

Does the campground have laundry facilities I can use? 

Yes! You will find four brand new laundry facilities conveniently located throughout the campground. Washers and dryers are $2.95/load each. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are available for purchase at the Campground Office.

Can we swim in the pond at the campground? 

No. Swimming is only permitted in the outdoor swimming pool located behind the Hub.

For everyone’s safety, swimming in the campground pond is strictly prohibited, and pets are not allowed in the pond.

Are fires allowed at the campground? 

Yes! Fires are allowed only in designated fire pit areas. Ground fires are stricktly prohibited. Fire pits may be rented from the Campground Office for $10/night and firewood is also available for purchase for $7/bundle.

How can I book a campsite?

You can either give us a call at (515) 265-7321 to make a reservation or visit our website to book online. You will find the reservation link under “Stay with Us” and/or “Campground” pages.

Are pets allowed in the campground?

Yes! Pets are welcome in the campground. For everyone’s safety, all pets must be supervised and kept on a leash at all times, except when using designated pet run areas.

Do you have long-term rates available?

Yes! We offer extended-stay rates for guests staying 30 days or longer. A one-month deposit is required at check-in. Payment plans are also available for guests staying multiple months.

Can you walk to the amusement park from the campground?

Yes! You can walk directly from the campground to Adventureland. A pedestrian bridge on the west side of the campground provides convenient access to the front gate of the park.

When is the campground open for the season?

Our campground is open to the public April through the end of October each year.

Are the sites full hookup?

Yes! All of our campsites are full hookup, with water, electricity, and sewer connections available at each site.

Is there electricity provided for tent sites?

Our primitive tent sites do not include electricity. However, premium tent sites are available and include electricity and a concrete pad for added convenience.

 

Is there a military or veterans discount for campground reservations?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount to active-duty and retired military members. To receive the discount, please call Reservations at (515) 265-7321 when making your reservation. The discount cannot be combined with any other offer.

Can I bring my own firepit to the Campground?

Yes! We do allow fire pits to be brought into the Campground. Fire pits must sit above the ground. In ground fire pits are not allowed.

Are there fire pits available at the Campground?

Yes! You are welcome to bring your own fire pit to the campground. Fire pits must be raised above the ground. In-ground fire pits are not permitted.

Can I have visitors at the Campground?

Yes! Visitors are welcome at the campground. All visitors must stop by the Campground Office to receive a visitor pass.

Can I pay cash for a campground reservation?

No. Adventureland is a cashless property, so cash is not accepted for campground reservations or purchases. A valid credit or debit card is required at check-in.

How can I use my season pass discount?

To apply your Season Pass discount to a campground reservation, please call Reservations at (515) 265-7321. Season Pass discounts are available through the end of the applicable season. Please note that the Season Pass discount cannot be combined with any other offer.

Is there public Wi-Fi available at the Campground?

Unfortunately, public Wi-Fi is not available for guest use at the campground.

Is there early check in / late check out available?

Yes! Early check-in and late check-out are available for an additional fee and subject to availability.

• Latest check-out: 3:00 PM

Is there a pool at the Campground?

Yes! Campground guests can enjoy our outdoor swimming pool, located behind the Hub.

Are tents allowed at the campsites?

Tents are only permitted in our designated tent camping areas. To reserve a tent site, please call Reservations at (515) 265-7321.

Are there shower facilities available?

Yes! We have multiple shower facilities conveniently located throughout the campground for guests to use.

 

Do you sell propane at the Campground?

Yes! Propane is available for purchase at the Campground Office daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Are there group rates available in the Campground?

Yes! Group rates are available for reservations of 10 or more campsites. For availability and pricing, please email info@adventurelandpark.com.
